 FAQ

WHAT'S THE PHOBGCC

Its a replacement Gamecube Controller board with multiple advantages including: Built in snapback filtering, Magnet stick sensors, Trigger and Stick Calibration.

This makes the most consistent gamecube controller possible with pode never being an issue due to the stick sensors never wearing down. You'll never have to deal with the wrong c stick aerials, inconsistent ledge dashes or shield drops ever again and access to 1.0 cardinals

IS IT LEGAL?

It is currently legal and it can be updated to conform with any future rulesets!

DOESN'T UCF FIX IT?

UCF is capable of improving shield drops and dashbacks with 1.03 make it even more consistent. However UCF cannot fix snapback, and the inherent inconsistencies of the stick design of the GCC. The PhobGCC is able to deal with these things as the read values for the stick position will never change.

WHY DO I NEED A DONOR GCC

There are certain components that are not available to buy including the cable and most importantly the stickboxes to retain the original feel with more consistent readings.

HOW DO I CHOOSE A GOOD DONOR

Simply choose any official GCC with sticks you like the feeling of and the colour you like. T3 sticks will last longer. How to identify controllers with T3 here https://gccontrollerlibrary.com/guides/

IS IT REVERSIBLE

Yes it is a reversible process

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

I will transplant all the necessary components along with any mods you may request from your original controller. To the PhobGCC board and calibrate all the necessary input and put it in your provided shell.
